Live à l´Ancienne
This is a live set made with Ableton Live and Roland Cloud.
Only with Virtual Synthetizers,
but made with the same old school Techno technics.
This is a tribute to the
90's Techno Parties
where I had the chance to play.
MAKING OF
Progressions 019
is a live act based on Ableton Live Sessions.
This means I used loops that I made from Sythetisers,
and sounds I captured during my trips around the world with my
Yamaha Pocket Track 2G
I modified all of this with effects, resampling, cutting, equlisations, etc..
For instance the sounds of birds
in "Oiseaux tracks" and "coup sourd"
are from a garden in Dubai.
Voices are from freinds or myself.
"R U Ready!?!" voices is made from a free text to speech online voice generator.
A lot of samples are also from sample packs.
This in my opinion the new way of making music by playing with existing and self created bits of sounds.
Now a days, you can use infinte sources of sounds and synthetisers.
A radical new approach that the instruments of the 90s could not allow.
Premier Voyage
is a LIVE SET
made with virtual instruments: Ableton Wavetable, Serum, Sylenth, Grainscanner, Roland SH2, Izotope.
It is a cruise to chill and finally
getting excited.
It starts with a few short dramatic and dub tracks
rising surely to the climax of a Spinning
SH2 Synthetizer, for landing softly into Deep House sounds.
The last track, Magic Pockets 91
is relating to the old video game
and Smurf dance of the 80s, not really dub, but fits in ;)
Good Live to listen to while traveling by car, plane, train
or just chilling.
